During our first semester, we had to create a microsite of our choosing. The parameters of the assignment was to create a website with whatever elements we wanted. I chose to create a website about the "The Tale of the Three Brothers," a short story by JK Rowling. I decided to redesign the website for my portfolio, incorporating the knowledge I've gained in web and after effects to improve the overall look and function of the website.

Feedback From My Peers:

-Improve the colour scheme, make the colours reflect the mood of the short story.

-Create a style for the website that is consistent.

-Choose a more suitable font.

-Create a suitable header and a footer.

-Make the background a uniform colour.

The Changes I Will Apply:

-I changed the font for the short story and the header, something that is more suitable for the ambience of the story.

-I created three animations using after effects to add visuals to the short story.

-I added a uniform background to the website, and put an additional background behind the text so that it's more readable.

-I created a header for the different sections of the story so when you can easily find different sections of the story without scrolling and trying to find it yourself.

-I made the website responsive so it works on mobile and other devices.
